Welcome!

I recently returned from Treasure State Art Show where my painting, "Sunshine and Roses", was awarded the
People's Choice Award. What and honor that is! In addition,my first illustrated book is now available.
It is Farm Friends , written by Anna Roan
and published by Houghton Mifflin.

I have just added a number of new paintings. Currently, landscape paintings on book pages are new.
You can take a look at "Definition of a Bargain" and "Shadows on the Sage Slope". I am also enjoyng working on
triptychs, both on paper and on stone backgrounds.
I

      I enjoy both traditional
forms of painting and less traditional forms of art: abstract, expressive and non-representational.
The greatest diversity of techniques is seen in my oil
and acrylic paintings. They range from traditional brush strokes to paintings that use collage, texture
and color to evoke emotional response.

Mixed media, oil and acrylic paintings have a gallery wrap; the painting extends around the sides of
the canvas, making frames unnecessary.
